Omar was going to be my Leading Man and the crux of my whole show (you should have seen who I had lined up for his love interest).

My producers are scrambling to come up with a new concept, feel free to move past me for now.

The thing I really liked about Omar as a Badass is that he really isn't that much of a badass. Like how many firefights has (insert popular action star) been in on the show (insert popular action show)? Like a million? nobody survives a million firefights.

But Omar, hes smart. he's a real badass. And he's got this immovable moral compass that although crooked from normal, is still quite defined. Has potential to act as a very tough foil for your main character.

Did anyone watch Rome? Thinking about taking the guy from Rome...
