I'll take a stab at a show.  I'll definitely be more of a 140 word kind of guy, but that should suffice.

Auction would be great.  Especially if there's a prize for the producer with the most "crickets" bids.  Meaning no one else has any interest in the actor/actress.

Ya. You're right. Is possible, would just take a while.

Don't know if it'd be worth the time though, I'd imagine people's tastes are unique enough that bidding wars would be rare.
