Mohammed is only playing 9 minutes a game for the Bobcats and averaging 2ppg and 1 rpg , I guess he is in Larry's dog house?(but then again who isn't at some point?). Just last year after he was traded to the Bobcats in 61 games he averaged 9ppg and 7 rbp in 23 minutes a game.

He is a big body to go against Big Z and Howard in the playoffs. He has played on contending teams before in San Antonio and Detriot, so he has plenty of playoff experience. He has 2 years left on his contract after this year at 6 mil per year.

I am thinking we could put a package together that could land him here, because like I said he is only playing 9 mins a game.

Here's a trade that works numbers wise :

Char send: Mohammed

Bos sends 1) Scal(1 less year on contract then mohammed)
2)BBD( Young low post player, still has time to
develop, just not on a contending team)
          3)Notorious POB
4)Sam Cassell( he gets cut by the Bobcats and
returns to Boston as an assistant coach)

We might have to exchange Giddens for POB , but do you guys think this is a realistic possibility ?

No.

He makes to much money and plays no defense.

He can't be any worse then BBD and POB . We need a big body to battle with Big Z and Howard, we don't win either of those series if we don't have another big body against those teams. Just look at last year, without PJ Brown the Cavs Big men tower over BBD and Powe. Mohammed is a legit 6-10 so he has the length and is beefy.

Plus next year he could become valuable in trades because he will only have 1 and a half years left on his contract. If we package him and Ray Allen (who has an expiring contract) you could probably get back a superstar player that a team is looking to move, like a Micheal Redd type player.

All I know is that every defensive minded coach bench's him and stops playing him.
