WNBA team holds tryouts for male practice squad

Not to stir up the pot again, but it looks like the Phoenix Mercury want a few good men to form a practice squad to pit their team against.  Thoughts?

As I understand it, this is a fairly usual practice at the NCAA level.  A friend of mine actually parlayed his time on the male practice squad for the women's team at Missouri (as well as pretty decent hoops background) into a grad assistant's job once he finished his undergrad work.

Interesting to see the WNBA replicating this as well.
