Danny, for the love of God, get some freaking offensive help. The kids have come back down to Earth, and they can't be relied on consistently. It's essentially just Kyrie out there for large portions of the game with sprinkles of Morris and Al.

I agree, gotta find a way to use the DPE, but it looks like DA is waiting for a buyout?  Hard to know what is going on behind the scenes.  Tonight our issue wasn't scoring off the bench though...we had 48 bench points.  Tonight it was giving up too many 2nd chance points and just not stopping Kuzma.

36-10 edge in free throws for Lakers was bs.. Refs were trash all game especially Marc Davis. Makes calls while being the farthest away from the play and no view but misses calls for us standing 2 ft away staring at the guys..
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Does anyone here really think they are beating the clippers on a back to back and then the warriors?

This is going to get worse before better

So, basically, if Brown and Tatum don't combine to miss several dunks and layups, and the Celtics give up only a million offensive rebounds—as opposed to a bazillion—then they'd have won. Great.

Bench is just a piece of ****.

Cmon that just isn't the case.  Smart played well had 22points 8 assists, Morris scored well, Terry hit clutch shots.  We had 46 points from the bench.  Tonight isn't the night to make this argument.

To be fair, we really didn't get much from Tatum and Brown tonight.  Neither played very well, and both struggled on def.  I know our bench has sucked a lot lately, but they were decent tonight.

That's the main problem, in addition to the inconsistent, lackluster bench. Tatum and Brown have both just come back down to Earth, and I would bet there's a correlation there with our offense.

We need another scorer to take some of the pressure off of Kyrie. We're essentially back to last year's offensive team with Kyrie = IT, but our other guys are just too young and inconsistent this year to help make up for our lack of a true secondary scorer.

I hate relying on buyouts. Remember Troy Murphy?

Actually wouldn't surprise me if they beat the Warriors, because that's what this team does—usually beats the good teams, way too often loses to the sucky teams.

pretty much how I feel about tonight.  Didn't get much from the JB/JT combo.  We need more than 4 points from JT.  It does seem he may have hit the rookie wall.  Need to be patient a bit with him.  Maybe bring him off the bench for a few games to give him some better matchups?  I don't really like starting MM but maybe it should be considered.

I say stick with the kids. I mean we arent getting anybody that is gonna put us over the top this year anyway. Lou williams, Tyreke evans isn't gonna cement us a place in the finals or get us even a little closer to a championship. So let the young guys dveelop. They will have bad games like tonight, more than we may like like, but they will also win us plenty of games (we are still in first place afterall) and they will be better for next year when we may actualy have a shot with hayward back.

I think either one of them would do WONDERS for our team and make us much, much more likely to get to the Finals than playing the kids. The offense simply bombs anytime Kyrie goes to the bench anymore, and having one of those guys would allow us to pretty much always have a designated scorer on the floor.

Only 3 players were + tonight: Kyrie (+16), Morris (+4), and Horford (+2).

Yeah... we need a consistent secondary scorer.

We didn't need Hayward to beat the Lakers tonight. This loss is unacceptable.

IDK could easily win the Clippers game. Id expect a win in Denver. GSW is near impossible, but anything can happen.

I don't hate Smart and he had a great game- it def wasn't his fault that we lost.

But it was clear that he decided he was going to take the final shot the second he got the ball in his hands on the other end.

Yeah I remember Troy.  He didn't really give us a lot huh? lol touche.

We probably just need to have GH back, but that won't happen til next year.  We are playing with house money this year.  Being in 1st place this deep into the season wasn't expected.  If we end up with a 1 or 2 seed, what more can we really expect?
