Nice jumper by Bradley. The kid has good form. Hopefully he has a good shooting night and builds some confidence

Someone please help me with the exact verbage, but years ago Tommy predicted that Pierce may someday be the greatest scorer in C's history.  He wasn't suggesting that Pierce would become the best offensive player (Bird), but could become the best scorer.  Not sure I fully understand the distinction nor am I sure I have Tommy paraphrased apprpriately, but it was something like that -- and it was long ago.  He got a little heat for the remark.

“Havlicek might be a better player because of his defense, or Bird because of his passing, but Paul Pierce is the best scorer the Celtics have ever had.”

Too sloppy!!!

Celtics sloppiness has kept this from being a double digit lead. Their rotations on defense are also appallingly bad.

TP for the quote.  Folks agree? Pierce the best scorer in C's history?  Hondo was one heck of a scorer.  Hard to put anyone ahead of Bird.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
The Bobcats look better than the Raptors to me. This is the kind of game I was afraid of. Struggle against the Bobcats and then face the Lakers. Not a good sequence.
The Celtics aren't quitters. Why should you be? - blind homer

These Bobcats should win the NBDL title if Henderson comes back 100%.

Probably agree with him being the best scorer to an extent, but I disagree for the reasonings he uses to say why the others are the better players. For example, what makes Bird better than all is simply that his basketball IQ is off the charts to go along with his talent.
