I love Gary Payton II, but hes a defense first gaurd who rebounds really well, cant shoot and struggles with shot selection.

Marcus Georges-Hunt is another favorite but he also fits really poorly with us and I dont think He will even get drafted.

Moving way up, I really really like Jamal Murray.

I still really want Caris Levert.  I'd put my faith in an NBA training staff to keep him healthy.  He'd be a top 10 pick, maybe even as high as 5, if he were healthy all season.  He can shoot, drive, pass, rebound, and defend the 1-3.  He's got the physical measurables. He'll be a steal -- I'd be fine if he were picked at #23, and if he's available at #31 and we haven't traded the pick, I will be livid if he isn't selected.  He's a better prospect than anyone we selected last year (and I really like Rozier).

Update on Levert:

He revealed that his injury was a Jones fracture.  This is the same injury that Durant had.  It does have potential to recur, and as such is best treated with surgery, which he had in March.  It presumably explains why he has multiple seasons end with such an injury, and it's unfortunate he didn't have the surgery in 2015.  The recovery time is such that he'll be ready for training camp, and could probably do some light practice with the team in summer league, although playing in a game would seem like overkill.

Here's more about the surgery from an article about KD 18 months ago.

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2014/10/12/6965691/kevin-durant-jones-fracture-injury-nba-thunder

According to the article, other players to undergo such a procedure in recent years include CJ McCollum and Brook Lopez.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Levert deal with this again at some point during his career, but it doesn't seem to be something that is career-ending.  He remains my draft binkie.

Sticking with Jamal Murray.

Post combine

I'm joining Evantime on the Chieck Diallo band wagon

I will probably live to regret this but I'll take Zhuo Qi.

Gary Payton III AND his 4% body fat percentage.

Edit: still really high on Ante Zicic as well.

Those %'s always make me laugh. So unrealistic.

I used to wrestle in high school, we had to have our body fat percentages measured every year since they had to establish a weight class range that you could cut too safely. So those % always stick out too me.

AB had the lowest body fat in his class and I'd say that been a case where the evidence predicted the success. Heard on a podcast the other day that Christian Wood went undrafted last year in large part due to his obscenely high -for a pro ball player- body fat percentage.

If it's wrestling then there is a lot of water and sodium manipulation done towards the end in order to make weight, but weight loss is not an indication of bodyfat. I've done the same for submission grappling/BJJ and can relate. The lowest I've been is at roughly 5%, but that's for bb competition and it's not fun. You aren't even functioning properly (brain and body), so doing things like playing basketball is nearly impossible. I imagine they use calipers at the combine, which isn't the most accurate measurement to begin with. Then you have to factor things such as how many points is it taken from and how much pinching, maximizing is vital, the person administering the exam is doing. It's so easy to get a bad reading when done incorrectly.

Kris Dunn please...I believe he is the third best player in the draft and a future all-star. The idea that the C's pass because they have Smart or Rozier is nuts). They will live to regret it if they pass on Dunn because they have a couple of  PG's on the roster..

Me too. Most talented player after Simmons and Ingram. I don't like taking another guard but I think you have to take Dunn (after top 2) if he is available.

My three Binkies are:

1. Skal Labissiere
2. DeAndre Bembry
3. A.J. Hammons

A fourth player that no one will ever mention but to watch out for is Caris LeVert.

He looks like Dwayne Wade 2.0 to me.
