Just a few ideas, and would love your take on whether both sides would do the deal (with or without adjustments) and whether we ought to pursue the deal (with or without adjustments):

Idea 1

To BOS: Jamal Murray, Filler
To DEN: Walker, ‘21 1st, ‘23 1st, ‘25 1st, ‘27 1st, and Swaps in ‘22, ‘24, ‘26

Idea 2

To BOS: Conley, ‘21-23 swaps
To UTA: Walker

https://tradenba.com/trades/uQ3fk8WLw

Idea 3

To BOS: DeRozan, ‘21-23 swaps
To SA: Walker

https://tradenba.com/trades/1XN1INv-w

Orlando Magic Receive: G Kemba Walker & BOS 2022 2nd Round Pick
Boston Celtics Receive: F Aaron Gordon & G/F Evan Fournier

seems more plausible to me than several of those trades.
2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

Kemba has no trade value. So none of those trades are realistic unless the Celtics are giving up other pieces and future 1st round picks.

I think this might be a tremendously bad take in about a week.

I think this might be a tremendously bad take in about a week.

In a week, Is he not going to be a 30+ year old undersized guard, making max money, with chronic knee issues? He’s just not durable. played 20 mins today and had to go into the locker room to get his hip looked at after getting bumped by Noel. Have no idea why people think other teams are going to give up their young players/assets for him.

The other team would say no to all of those trades.

I would say no to most of them too

I would absolutely pull the trigger on a Kemba for DeRozan deal in the blink of an eye. DeRozan has improved his shooting from 3 and the FT line, and has basically become a point forward with his playmaking. Would be risky given he’s an upcoming free agent.

I’d also like it for San Antonio. Neither White nor Murray are real PG’s, but those two plus Keldon Johnson have significant versatility both positionally and skill-set wise. If they could flip LMA & Samanic for Love, Porter Jr., and a 1st I would really love it for them.
Would leave them with a solid team short and long term:

Kemba Walker / Patty Mills / Tre Jones
Dejounte Murray / Derrick White / Kevin Porter Jr.
Keldon Johnson / Kevin Porter Jr. / Keita Bates-Diop
Kevin Love / Devin Vassell / Rudy Gay
Jakob Poeltl / Trey Lyles / Drew Eubanks

I don’t mind that for SAS

Then for us, if we did this kind of deal, I’d really love for us to use our big TPE + whatever picks necessary to nab Aaron Gordon. Would give us a crazy flexible team:

DeMar DeRozan / Payton Pritchard / Jeff Teague
Jaylen Brown / Marcus Smart / Romeo Langford
Jayson Tatum / Semi Ojeleye / Aaron Nesmith
Aaron Gordon / Grant Williams / Daniel Theis
Tristan Thompson / Robert Williams / Tacko Fall

Not even sure it’s reasonable, but that would be a nice little outcome
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)
