Did the lakers look like a team with a real chance to win a championship last night?  Celtics aren't winning it this year so I'm focusing my attention on the lakers not winning it.

The Boston Celtics franchise is in a fix.

Last night I knew we were fighting two problems. #1. It was a Nationally televised game. (You could tell, everyone had special hair)
#2. It was in La La Land and the stars were out.

34 hollow points, desperate passing leading to 5 turn overs. Standing around on offense waiting for the ball to swing to him so he could go ISO. He has NO idea what moving without the freaking ball is! He's been trying to become a more well rounded player of late...well last night he regressed big time. Mark my words, In 2024-25 when he's an unrestricted free agent, he'll put out feelers to the LA Lakers. We'll hear him say the words. "This is a dream come true" when he signs with them.

He's 25 years old, I think he likes Boston, he has a good head on his shoulders, he plays at a fast pace, he a very good three point shooter, he gets to the rim at will and has made himself a solid finisher. He has the mid-range fallaway down-pat. He's much more than just a solid defender. His passing skills need attention, but that will come. He's flat-out dangerous in the open court.
But... HE JUST CAN'T STAY HEALTHY long enough settle-in long term to lead this lost team.

The Boston Celtics franchise is in a fix.

I went to bed but not by choice...fell asleep at halftime and woke up the game was over so I went to bed again. Looks like a bad lapse in the 3rd quarter cost us, same as it cost the Fakers in the 4th back in Boston. We looked good in the first half but I guess they unraveled in the 3rd.

Fakers are kind of like us in that on their day, when LeBum has his tail up, they can beat anyone...but they're just not consistent enough to be top tier.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

We looked good in first quarter, when I went to sleep. Woke up to see we bit the dust, very disappointing. Will go back to the tape to watch what happened.

How we respond tonight v Clippers will say a lot about our team's character, or lack thereof.
