Vucevic
Markkanen
Derozan
Zach Lavine
Lonzo balls

Coby white is a nice young PG I like as well

How many wins this year. Looks like high 40s go 50 to me. Solid lineup. Just need a defensive big.

Too early. Need to see what their bench is like first.

Lonzo / Caruso / Dosunmu
Lavine / White / Dosunmu
DeRozan / Brown / Lavine
Williams / DeRozan / Markannen
Vucevic / Markannen

Is that their team as it stands? If so, this is how I'd run their rotation. Dosunmu will barely play, and Brown and Caruso won't get many minutes. But I love DeRozan and Vuce, have wanted both on our team.

I think they'll be a 42 win team, as they stand now. Vucevic is an average defender, Lavine and DeRozan are below average. Lots of inexperience that will be expected to play big minutes.

I like the offensive fit of their 4 best players though.

Yeah, I am leaning more towards low to mid 40s for this group as well as it currently stands.

I see two main issues:

(1) Defense - Lonzo is the only above average defender in the starting unit. Caruso the only above average defender in the bench unit. A lot of middle of the pack defenders. Some weak ones.

(2) Offense - a lot of good efficiency scorers but few high end efficiency scorers (60+% TS%). Duplication of scoring concerns between LaVine, DeRozan and Vucevic. Then the lack of a clear role offensively for the talented Markkanen.

(3) A third issue is the current lack of any quality at the backup slots but they should be able to improve on that before season's start.

They'll be a solid 4-6 seed, up there with Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Philly, Atlanta, Miami.

A Big 3 of Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic, and DeMar DeRozan is pretty crazy. The east will be a bloodbath next season.

I can't tell if trolling or forgetful to list Lonzo but not Lavine

I love how their wings (Lavigne/Ball/Derozan) are all capable of initiating offense/ball handling. That’s bodes well for their ball movement. Add the stretch the floor presence of Vucevic and they will be an excellent offensive team.

Also, love the Caruso signing. He is a very good defender and 6th man contributor.

I’m not sold on their defense but they will win a bunch of regular season games that is for sure. I’d peg them solidly as a 4-6 seed.
