I guess if PBS waits long enough eventually the money around the league will be gone and there will be a few decent vets who will have no choice but to take a 1 yr vet min deal with the cs.

Maybe he will pull out another decent european vet like Theis or Wanamaker out of his butt at the last minute? We can hope can't we?

Ish Smith to the Hornets on a 1 year deal. He would have been a really nice addition here, and a year deal would have fit with our plan for maintaining flexibility next summer as well.

That’s probably the plan?

So where does Schroeder end up now? He’ll probably need to eat some humble pie and lower his asking price, a “bet on himself” type of deal. In hindsight, he should have just accepted that lakers extension.

The Boston #Celtics are indeed interested in a reunion with point guard Isaiah Thomas and there have been talks about a potential deal, a league source tells @HoopAnalysisNet.

Detroit needs a PG. Looks a good short term marriage.

Ownership is hearing all the pressure on them and they’re throwing us bread crumbs to keep us complacent.

The pitiful part is that if IT is even half what he was while he was here, our guard rotation would benefit from his scoring.

Is he plan B after Patty Mills signed with BKN? In any case, this is a feel good coming home story. I hope it happens. It’ll make this season fun to watch at least.

How about a S+T of Schroeder for Myles Turner.

Indiana plays a backcourt of Schroeder & Brogdon. They have LeVert and Warren at forwards. Sabonis at center. Clear up the twin tower problems. Two dynamic creators in the backcourt to stop their offense being so predictable.

Lakers get a big man to space the floor who allows AD to stay at PF. Maintain their big defensive lineup.

That would be awesome for Indiana, but I would hate to see that for LA (from a C's fans perspective). Turner taking the beatings at the centre spot would be great for AD. However, AD and Turner are both injury risks

Do the lakers  still have cap space to do that though?

No cap space. I imagine they are in the luxury tax zone. So it is how much pain they are willing to suffer financially to boost their title hopes.
