Here's a good list of sleeper picks including my draft binkie Marcus Garrett:

https://www.lineups.com/articles/top-10-nba-draft-sleeper-picks/
I think you can get him as a free agent. His offensive game is non-existent. Good team player and upper classman (which I like this year) but there’s better value to be had in this draft.

Marcus Garrett is an elite defender. His Offense needs work but he shot FG%45.9 FG3% 34.8 eFG%50.4 with 3.7 assists and 4.6 TRB FT% 80, 11 points a game. Garrett has a better 3 pt% than Marcus Smart coming into the league.
I know you draftniks love using college stats to back some of your arguments for late 1st and 2nd round prospects, but you have to realize that almost all college stats do not translate to similar success in the pros.

Athleticism, age, BBIQ, dribbling skills, passing skills, court vision, shooting form, in the post footwork, work ethic, box out ability, etc. are way, way more important.

I seriously doubt Garrett has anything close to the success in the pros as he did at Kansas, if he makes the pros. I kinda doubt he gets drafted. He is most likely a two-way contract guy....maybe

Interesting read that touches on a few different prospects.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nba/news/2021-nba-draft-five-sleepers-who-could-be-late-round-steals-or-have-a-pro-career-if-they-are-undrafted/amp/

I may be to low on Chris Smith, coming off his ACL injury he could be a high ceiling option at #45 who is more likely to take a 2-way deal and rehab for much of the season. Had he stayed healthy he could have worked his way into the 1st round.

he averaged like 11 pts as a senior. He offense needs serious work. I know he can D and is a good teammate but like I mentioned he could be had as a free agent and there are several players that will be more valuable at 45. Don’t get me wrong. I like the player. But he’ll be 23 when season starts and not much upside left. I would kick some current C’s to the curb for this kid tho.

I agree, I like Garrett as a 2-way but there should be higher upside players available at 45

Who is the best pick at #13?

This is my big board (posted a few pages back)
1   Cunningham
2   Mobley
3   Suggs
4   Green
5   Kuminga
6   Barnes
7   J Johnson
8   F Wagner
9   J Springer
10   Giddey
11   K Johnson
12   M Moody
13   Sengun
14   I Jackson

By the sounds of things in some order the following are locks to all be gone in top 10.

Cunningham
Green
Mobley
Suggs
Barnes
Kuminga

After that I think the draft will be a little up in the air, I suspect Springer will be my highest ranked guy still available at 13

Why do you care? Did we trade FOR that pick or are you a Pacers fan? Not trying to be smug or anything.
BTW, the correct answer is Davion Mitchell!  :D

Looks like Moses Moody is falling in a few mocks. I'd trade for him in a second if we still had #14 (though Mitchell is still my favorite at around that spot). He's not Bradley Beal but he's on his way. He can flat out score. He needs some work but the tools are all there to score at all levels in variety of ways.

They said Nesmith could flat out shoot/score too.  Well, we're waiting........

Garrett is a long shot, I agree. He is a hell of a defender. I've watched him play quite a bit and he is a defensive menace.

I think he'll be better than Waters or Edwards right off the bat.
