Site slowness and glitches

Not sure if anyone else if having problems on the site recently, but I have and it's awful. I have cleared my cache and used both an ad blocker browser and a non ad blocker browser and have had problems on both.

In the ad blocker browser only one company's ads make it through: St Clare Heirlooms Seeds. My guess is these ads might be the ones causing the issues.

Has anyone else had these experiences lately?

Yes, I noticed today it is very slow and laggy. Wonder if it is a database issue or the server needs its cache cleared and optimized.

Unclear atm but looking around. The other day we got a nice flood of bots and crawlers, and I'm always skeptical of something with an ad. Will see what I can find.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am still having issues.  Especially during a game...very slow.  I don't have this problem with any other sites I visit.

Me too. It's really slow and once today I even couldn't login as it said there were connectivity problems.

Yeah it's really bad right now. Not sure if byennie or one of the mods are aware or able to fix the issue

Byennie is aware (he posted in the thread a few posts above).

I've found it comes and goes in waves. Some moments will be incredibly slow, then back to normal for seemingly no reason. Doesn't coincide with the heavy traffic times either (game threads)

Hey guys, quick update, I think I found the main culprit. I try not to tinker too much with the forum software in a "if it ain't broke" kind of way, but it's definitely been dragging.

Let me know if you notice an improvement.

Thanks for the quick response.  It does seem to be back to its normal connection speed.  TP for the fix!
