Doody Prize RebusRankin - Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls: 23.3/18 = -5.3 OtherKwhit - Anthony Morrow, New Jersey Nets: 12.9/0 = -12.9/DNP (Sore Left Ankle)Recap: First of all, my thoughts and prayers to those who lost loved-ones during the football (soccer) game riot in Egypt ... really horrible story, and I hope it's the last time it happens.
Anyway ... great game by the
Celtics tonight, (though I only got to see the highlights), and while some people don't care for blowouts, I love it ... Toronto is a team that they
should be pounding, and it's nice to see guys like
J-Cube get some play, (hopefully he earned some
additional court time with his eleven points in just nine-plus minutes). It's always great to have a
Celtic player in the winner's circle, and
Bradley certainly deserves it with his contributions since
R2 went down with the wrist injury ... this kid has been the catalyst for our team getting back to it's defensive priorities, IMHO, and his energy is contagious. While I would personally give the Sixth Star Award to
BB-Gun at this point, (Bass - for his consistent and infectious Tommy Point-worthy efforts),
Avery has found a solid place on this team for the future, (which begs the question: Why wasn't he played more last year?).
By the way, all the standings have been updated through the 28th, just use the links at the bottom of this post. It's nice to have
Edgar and
Outcry back in the fold, (and twelve players for the second night-in-a-row), but
'Boots was a no-show, though I think she'll be back with us soon. The victory tonight, (via the
AB selection), goes to our game wizard and
Mod Extraordinaire,
Redz, who, (like myself), has had a bit of a drought of late, but now moves into the four-win category, (while I continue to stink it up) ... congratulations, my friend!
One TP paid to
Redz for the win, (seven owed),
one TP paid to
GreenFaith1819 for the nice second-place score, (three owed), and the
Doody Prize paid to
RebusRankin, (
Celtics picks always get TPs from me as well).

** Note: When you make your pick, please try to check and make sure you haven't left anyone out ... sometimes when picks are made close together, the previous player is missed. If you see a duplicate pick, or a pick that is injured, or no game that day, please alert the person who made the pick to their mistake. Also, please make sure your pick has played ten games if using this year's stats - some players' teams have played more than ten, but the player hasn't ... you may be selling yourself short. Thank you kindly! ** For those who may not know, to copy any form "cleanly", (so you don't get the green boxes), just click on "Quote", (above, beside "Modify"), remove entire quote sentence at top of message box between [brackets], (starts with "quote", ends with long number, including brackets), remove [/quote] at bottom of message box also, then copy and paste what's left to a new reply, and add your info.
