Title: solution to our problems: SAMUEL DALEMBERT
Post by: frosty33 on January 02, 2013, 08:23:21 PM
why don't we have this guy yet? only 31 yrs old, he's a rebound and blocking machine, and he rides the pine on the bucks bench!!!! i'm sure we could get him for a 2nd round pick (except he's making almost 7 mil this yr) DANNY..... WAKE UP!!!

I wonder if there was a way Danny could trade Jason Terry (and keep Lee/Bass instead) for Dalembert. Maybe in a three team deal for a piece or expiring contract that suits Milwaukee better than Terry does.

Id rather keep terry than keep bass.

So if he's such a "rebounding and blocking machine", why can't he get off the pine on the woeful Bucks, who have no center other than Larry Sanders?

Feel like Jason Terry would object to spending his last years in Milwaukee.

I've always liked Dalembert.  He would definitely help.  And the Bucks are not that bad, they're 16-13 and currently the #6 seed in the east.

No way I'd trade Terry for Dalembert.

Bass/Lee and a Pick, sure.

Dalembert won't solve this team's problems.  he'd be an improvement over Collins but this team needs more than just this one so-so guy,

He can tear up his contract when he gets there if he likes, though I seriously doubt he would.

Lee is the best fit for the Bucks, but I don't see Danny giving him up for a buyout candidate.

We object to having such a mediocre team to cheer for.  ;D

I mean, The Bucks clearly would contact Terry before making a trade. They're not going to move Dalembert if the return is someone who isn't going to play for them

Completely agree.

I think everyone is expecting "few years ago" Sammy D. He wasnt really as good In Houstonand is now getting benched.

Id personally rather have Haywood. He's not the sexiest name but he can be a solid backup C. He'll be available for cheap too I guess.

Haywood can't be traded this year because Bobcats picked him up through Dallas amnestying him.

I was talking a little tongue-in-cheek. Pretty doubtful he'd walk away from 12 mil guaranteed.

It's a business, as the cliche goes. The Cs will trade Terry wherever the feel like if it will better the team.

I don't see this deal happening though.

Dalembert would be a great addition but Im not so sure if he is the solution to all our problems. He would certainly help in the middle and I would only visit him if he was our last tradeable center option when the trade deadline comes around.

If Dalembert is the answer I don't want to know the question.
