Zach Lowe summarized it best. Nothing Jeff Green-related makes sense.

That team seems a little crowded.  I wonder if Hezonja or Gordon can be had.

They're not trading Gordon. And I'd be surprised if they punt on Hezonja so quickly.

Kinda makes up for trading Tobias Harris in a less than stellar deal. Both players are good solid swings, but neither is going to be a top 3 on a 'contender'. I like the move for Orlando - Green is a good, solid player (contrary to what others say).

It does ... let's see

PG: E.Payton, DJ Augustin
SG: Fournier, Hezonja, J.Meeks
SF: A.Gordon, J.Green
PF: S.Ibaka, (A.Gordon or J.Green)
 C: N.Vucevic, Dedmon

I wonder if they just start Fournier and Hezonja together. Use A.Gordon and J.Green as backup forwards. Bring in Jodie Meeks as backup SG. Get more shooting on the floor. A.Gordon and E.Payton starting together on the perimeter is a tough sell. Especially in a two big man lineup.

PG: E.Payton, DJ Augustin
SG: Fournier, J.Meeks
SF: Hezonja, J.Green
PF: S.Ibaka, A.Gordon
 C: N.Vucevic, Dedmon

That makes more sense to me. Even if Hezonja is only getting 20mpg as a starter. Just to better balance things out.

It looks like Orlando doesn't trust / value someone (enough) there. Either Hezonja or A.Gordon. I'd be delighted to see Boston nab either one of them.
