That's weird. I looked him up on espn at around 1:45 am this morning and it was 16.9, but now it's 17.3. I thought espn updated it right away.

To add on to one of them...

I just hope Lakers Lovers don't use the "Doody Tommy Point" as an excuse why they picked Kobe for example.

Is this game going to stick around in the playoffs? Come playoff time we seem to get a lot of people from opposing teams on the blog. It would be terrible if they came in and beat us at our on game by picking players from their teams. Could we give them Doody TPs in those situations?

It's pretty arbitrary.  I'm guessing there is some data dump that they receive from their stats provider on a daily basis, at varying times in the wee hours of the morning.  I don't think there's any hard and fast time, down to the minute, that they update.

I was close to picking Dwight Howard tonight, but feared the scorn from other posters.

I figured with KG only playing 16 minutes, Howard might have a good night.  I hope Q1 is an aberration for the rest of the game.

Yup, I swooped in 15 minutes from tip-off and took Nick's prize, in the same game no less.

And I doubt anybody would believe me that Anthony Morrow was my second choice.

But Mike Taylor was not even on the radar. In fact, I just cut him in Points League in favor of Mardy Collins. Sigh. (I like to balance out my good decisions with an equal number of bad...)
