Welp.

Maybe we'll be lucky and Orlando pulls a rabbit out of it's hat and beats WAS.

Hey, something like that happened in 2015, which pitted us against our worst matchup in the Hawks. It could very well happen, especially as streaky as this Wizards team is and with Wall likely sitting out.

I feel like this is it ...
We had a nice few win after everyone went down, played on high emotions, but it’s over.
This is now just a young team with no leader and no experience- it matters in the playoff.
Hope I’m wrong and we can win one playoff round .

Ugh, Semi is so terrible. I don't understand Brad's obsession with him.

Can someone please explain how Boston can avoid the Wiz in round one if they lose this game???

1: They lose tomorrow against Orlando; or

2: All three of Washington, Miami, and Milwaukee win tomorrow (though a Milwaukee win over Philly will set up a second round date with Cleveland, so.....)

After the discussion last night, I was under the impression that if MIL loses and MIA loses, but WAS wins, then WAS will end up in 6th over MIL (they apparently own the tie-breaker) and MIA will be 8th with the worst record.

Is this not correct? Does WAS not own the tie-breaker over MIL?

Ah, you're right. That is also a possibility.

So what if the Wiz and Miami win but the Bucks lose?
What it the Wiz win and the Heat and bucks both lose?

If the Wiz and Miami win but the Bucks lose, then we'll get Washington with Miami at 6 and Milwaukee at 8.

The second scenario is what Jambr was talking about above - Washington at 6; Milwaukee at 7; Miami at 8.

Do not see Philly losing to Milwaukee. Toronto can dictate who they play in round one...Beat the Heat they get the Heat. Lose to the Heat and they get the Wiz.

I expect Boston to be playing the Wizards...the team with the most talent of anyone out side the top 4 seeds.

And Miami has the raptors. Boston is going to have to play these ****s in a series.

toronto will have nothing to play for tomorrow

Honestly, the most likely situation is that MIA and MIL lose while WAS wins. MIA is playing TOR and MIL is playing PHI (who needs the win to finish 3rd). WAS should absolutely beat ORL unless they sit all of their players in an attempt to set up a series against us.

Oh well.  Just sit Brown out.  Should have gotten him more involved in the 3rd quarter, but too late for that.  Matter of fact just rest all of our important players next game too.  Can't risk anymore injuries.

So, yeah, Brown is the only player in double figures. Hard to win a game like that. Tatum, Horford, Rozier, and Morris all having very bad games. I guess that's the upside here.

I guess they see him as a project , the next Rozier or Smart.

Agree. I do not think Boston has the horses to beat the Wiz. The Wiz will turn it on and Boston's season will be over pretty quickly.

Hope they draw someone else but the Wiz is a terrible match up for the Cs
