We dumped Baynes and had the fan base turn on Kyrie because why?

[dang] you Roy with your logic and reasoning!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I could see Irving back but not Al. Everything we hear about Irving leaving is questionable. We can't forget he had two very good regular seasons for us, locker room issues aside. With Horford he is out there for his last big payday. My only question is like others have said, what do you get dumping Baynes and what happens if you don't retain Horford? My first thought is you probably don't have a shot at the ECF however maybe moving Baynes and not retaining Horford allows the team to use the higher MLE. I havent looked at the cap numbers yet but if It matches up would explain a path DA is taking on shedding salary.

Any cap lovers want to look at if Irving resigns at the max what the cap would look like?

Am I alone in saying I wouldn't take Kyrie back, unless for a long term contract that we could sell at the trade deadline.

Will never happen.

In a series of posts to his story, Irving chronicled his arrival in Japan, during which he tells someone off camera that he is shooting a documentary. When asked where he was from, Irving opted to answer with his home state of “New Jersey” as opposed to “Boston” or “the United States.” 2 hours ago – via Booth Newspapers

Kyrie is not coming back to Boston.

If he does I’m blaming you for jinxing it with your unqualified certainty.

Kyrie is not coming back to Boston.

Leaving Boston will be Kyrie's biggest mistake of his NBA career.

Kyrie is gone, but this story is meaningless.

Ask Paul Pierce where he’s from, and my guess is he’d say Inglewood.

Nah. He’ll probably be injured.

I don't think he is coming back either, but i do think it is possible. If Brooklyn decides they don't want him, he really doesn't have a good option. Major paycut to go play third banana to Davis and Lebron, not likely. Play alongside Knox, Barrett and Robinson in New York? Bizarre and lottery bound. Where else?
