With the 3rd pick in the 3rd Round of the 2019 Historical Draft the Philadelphia 76ers select:

Patrick Ewing

AND

With the 4th pick in the 3rd Round of the 2019 Historical Draft the Philadelphia 76ers select:

Nate "Tiny" Archibald
Wow fantastic picks for Gouki, both of them have their flaws but are covered nicely by Bird and Malone.

Ewing was solid, but I don't think I like the Tiny pick, though with only needing 1 season that makes Tiny a lot more valuable.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

He also has won a title next to Bird. That's good synergy.

Tiny is another player that I believe would get a big boost from playing under today's rules. He was so quick. Lightening fast. He would be unstoppable in today's league. Able to get by anyone, get into the paint and force help defenses to scramble all over the place.

Given his ability to score and create for others while being able to create opportunities at such a high clip, I rate Tiny as one of most lethal creators (at PG) around.

Sure post Achilles when he was nowhere near the same player.  You basically have to use his 3rd season when he was uber ball dominant.

Okay, so I'm up now. The Atlanta Hawks take Walt Frazier with the 5th pick of the 3rd round.

I don't feel good about the chances of a good player sliding down to my picks now LOL

But still proved he could win a title playing with Bird, I think that helps. If MJ and Pippen or Shaq and Kobe were on the same team in this game, that helps as it shows those duos can win titles with each other.

Interesting thing that I did not know about the year where Nate Archibald led the league in both scoring and assists -- is that his team also led the league in offensive efficiency.

I never knew that until a few days ago.

That is impressive.

With the 6th pick of round 3, the Portland Trailblazers will select Charles Barkley.

While the Blazers would have preferred a more defensive oriented player, they couldn't pass up the last remaining top 20 player on ESPN's all time list (he was 18th), who just so happened to be a teammate of Moses in Philly and played with Magic on the Dream Team.  The Blazers are just going to have to outscore everyone and clean up the glass (good thing I have 3 top ten rebounders from their position all time).

Man, Barkley would be amazing with Magic feeding him.

Moses and Barkley on the boards together were terrific too.

Fantastic trio.

Yeah I figured you'd go gung ho on offense lol. Great frontline, teams are going to have their hands full against the Round Mound of the Rebound and the Chairman of the Boards.
