On February 3, assuming KAT is about to pull a Harden because of the Twolves’ endless struggles and a desire for a fresh start in the east:

To BOS: KAT, Oladipo, Tucker
To HOU: Walker
To MIN:

R. Williams
Langford
Nesmith
G. Williams
Edwards
2021 BOS 1st
2022 BOS 1st swap
2023 BOS 1st
2024 BOS 1st swap
2025 BOS 1st
2026 BOS 1st swap

Has to be on February 3 at the earliest due to Oladipo recently being traded (assume we drop J. Green before then)

https://tradenba.com/trades/0j_4sN0zm

Immediately extend Oladipo to a 4-year, $25-30 million/year deal. Extend Smart for four years, too, at $15-20 million/year, while keeping an eye on the tax being manageable the next four years if we win titles/raise revenue to 2008-2010 levels. See if we can bring back Theis at $5-7 million/year and Ojeyele at $2-3 million/year.

Nine-Deep Lineup

Oladipo/PP
Brown/Smart
Tatum/Ojeyele
KAT/Theis
TT/Theis

After 2022:

PP/Smart
Oladipo/Smart
Brown/Ojeyele
Tatum/Theis
KAT/Theis/Hopefully 2022 1st round pick

2021: Teague ahead of PP and Tucker behind TT. Hopefully one or both re-sign near the minimum, but we won’t have an issue bringing in ring-chasing vets at the minimum. We do not need our next few years of draft picks due to the age and contracts of our youthful core. No-brainer for us. Possible KAT can get a better deal. HOU does it so that they flip expiring assets for a better dealing of Walker (or Wall or both) during the off-season.

That Indy-Hou trade may be nullified cause of LeVert mass on his kidney..plus Houston won’t take Walker with Wall at PG
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

You need more picks going out as Brooklyn showed us this week.
Danny should have rolled forward those kings and grizzlies picks for more future first rounders as Nesmith and Romeo hold very little trade value.

From reading Kevin Pritchards quotes it sounds like Indy are fine with the trade as it is now and won’t seek further action

I’d maybe add another swap or two for KAT, or another first-round pick instead, but KAT is not worth 4 1st round picks and 4 swaps. Only Harden is worth that.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Setting aside that Minnesota isn't trading KAT this season, an offer for KAT that doesn't include Tatum or Brown isn't a serious offer.  OKC would easily beat that offer with all the picks that they have.   SGA and KAT would be a good young core to build around.

Towns has four years left on his deal, he isn't getting traded until the offsetting after next offseason (when he has two years left) at the earliest.

Before I clicked on this thread I guessed the OP was GreenlyGreen, now how did I guess this right? Who else saw the header and guessed it was Greenly?

Have you checked out the NBA lately? Since when did teams get to decide where their players go? All Kat has to do is give Minny a list of preferred destinations and then pout and eat his way to a 25lb weight gain. He will be traded to the team he wants.

Both of these.

Houstons gets Kemba for Oladpio? Is Kemba even better than Oladipo? Houston already has John Wall, why would they do this?

Also, what everyone else is saying about KAT. If he's available, this package isn't even close to what Minny will ask for.

Yeah it's time to get rid of those picks. Or else Ainge will just keep drafting the Nesmiths, Youngs, or Roziers which usually leads to disappointment.

Rozier is a baller and a good value for the 16th pick but the problem is he was not retained so we actually got little value for that pick ... scary Terry playoffs were fun though
