Definitely one of those "we didn't realize how spoiled we were at the time" epiphanies.

Man those were the good old days for both the Pats and the Red Sox

Idk what happened. Owners cheaped out, we obviously lost star players to retirement or letting them go but didn't really replace them, putting out a mediocre product out there with mostly meh players, etc.
