He is recovering from an ankle sprain but I guess this was to clear room for something.

He played in the G League and did well.

He's 20 and 6'10" with a 7'5" wingspan.

What do you think?

I'd love to take a look at him

A 20 year old that dominated the D League should have no trouble finding a home

I think he’ll be a nice pickup for the Bulls.

Depending on how the roster fills out, Bryant on a two-way would be pretty cool. I'm guessing someone will pick him up before that thought.

Bryant has a touch from the outside and a huge standing reach (about same as Robert Williams). He needs to improve his athleticism, but he might be a solid big man down the line.

He sounds redundant with Robert Williams already on the squad....

Watched  him at Indiana  a lot, he got progressively worse under poor coaching and don't see an upside for Celtics other than to fill the bench or G league

Williams is a way better athlete.

Bryant and Williams pretty much have the same measurements. Both are about 6'10" with huge wingspans 7'6". The difference is the athleticism. Williams is an elite athlete who is similar to a Shawn Kemp in that regard. He is very fluid, quick, and has anywhere from a 40" to 44"(44 is unlikely but that is what some at Texas A&M said they once measured him) vertical leap. That is why he is expected to be an elite defender and shot blocker in the NBA. He has the foot speed and agility to defend anyone. He has already shown he can be dominant in the pick n roll as well as lob plays. He doesn't have any real mid range game and is a terrible ft shooter. But he can help the Celtics right now as a defender and with lobs and pick n rolls.

Bryant had a more modest 32" vert which might explain why he didn't block that many shots in Indiana with that wingspan. He is not a good athlete and doesn't have a good feel for the game. He does have a decent shot now but he would be a non-factor in any offense. He really only offers an elite wingspan. He is a project that will likely spend a lot more time in the G League.

From what I recall, I don't believe that Bryant has the lateral quickness that's needed to even be a plus defender, but I'm probably wrong :-\.

I suspect Bryant will do better in summer league but Williams will be better by the end of the season.

Picked up by the Wizards. Great move for them. Good move for Bryant

Kobe's son is in the NBA?  Who knew!

So much for Kobe's "pull" with his former team.  ;D
