Rumored last week they are completely redoing their radio and TV lineups.  Getting rid of high priced talent for cheaper ones.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Doris is unwatchable to me.  I never root against people making a living.  She has knowledge but she does nothing for the excitement of the game.  I like JVG.  He can be irritating at times but he's pretty non biased in regards to favoring a team and he knows his stuff.  Sad to see him gone.

Yeah, dumping big salary for low salary is the way of the world, regardless of quality.  Even better if you can get rid of an old white man and replace him with a diversity hire.

Disney ruins everything they touch.

Well to be fair ESPN was pretty sorry before Disney also.

ESPN has, generally, never been very good - with brief, accidental exceptions (Page 2 springs to mind).
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Hearing all these names, I don’t think I enjoy listening to a single person employed by ABC/ESPN.

I guess Breen is ok. JVG had some terrible takes but at least he could be humorous at times. Jackson is brutal. Can’t stand Richard Jefferson or Doris Burke. Not a fan of Reddick either.

I buy the league pass every season and I seem to be getting less and less of the C’s telecasts, with ESPN/ABC, TNT, and NBATV. At least TNT usually has a good crew. But man, I really miss the Mike and Tommy days.

Mid-2000s Page 2 was the bomb.

I am waiting for NBC to make a run at bringing back the NBA in some capacity.

The less live sports ESPN has the better for all of us.

They're making a run at it.

I'm still hanging onto the Olbermann and Patrick era, even if KO sucks at life.

JVG and Jalen Rose IMO were actually some of the better guys on ESPN. A shame

Wish Mark Jackson would get the boot. He's absolutely horrible.

I think a lot of these guys are going to get scooped up pretty fast though, especially by rivals FOX.

One thing that won't change though is the NBA Countdown show being trash. SAS yelling, ads like half the time. Not worth it at all
