Well, to those who still feel a bit pessimistic - remember 2009-10.
This team of ours was directly responsible for "The Decision", if you ask me.
BOS refused to lie down vs CLE, and under incredible odds we sent CLE (and Lebron) packing.
I think Rajon arrived in THAT series, if you ask me. Played himself right onto the cover of Sports Illustrated, too.
Next series? While Rondo was very good vs ORL, it was The Captain who carried us vs DH and Co.
I was thinking after the loss to the Lakers on Sun that if we would've had THAT Rondo, we would've beaten LA back in 09-10. We have THAT Rondo now, and he is a LOT more consistent, thankfully.
The kid is growing before our eyes...I've said it before, and will say it again: The Boston Celtics, right now, will go as far as Rajon Rondo takes them. That is not to say that Paul/KG/Ray are less important, but with their natural regression Rondo seemingly is finding his way. And it's at the right time.
It is funny to me that I was throwing him under the bus just a week or so ago, but the kid is proving me wrong, once again.
Acquire either Emeka, or Robin Lopez as the blog front page suggests, and I love our opportunity in the playoffs. I'd hate to give up AB, but if it comes to it such a move would be great for him (and us), I think. Either one of these two could help us down low.
