Just wanna hear some of what you guys are thinking will go start up tonight? Do you think we hear some names we haven't thought of? I know Tyreke and Josh Smith are names I think we will hear. What about everyone else?

What depresses me is that while we're in a great position to retool, the names we've been tied to are inefficient, low-basketball IQ players like Smith and Evans. I hope we start getting into the mix for guys along the likes of Redick and Millsap rather than Smith and Evans.

We very well could be. I am just wondering who you think we will grab. Also would like to hear if Big AL was coming back he would be awesome with someone like Kelly cause Kelly can step out while big al works the paint.

At this point, I don't get the idea of getting Smith or Evans. It was great to acquire one of them if KG and PP were still there, but now I don't get it.
DA should focus on how and when to acquire the next big 3, whatever RR will be part of it or not. The young core right now will be the surrounding of our next big 3.
But let's see DA's plan this week...

I am starting to think that Rondo and Smoove are tied at the hip.

In other words, if Rondo isn't moved, I think Smoove comes to Boston.

If Rondo is dealt to Dallas, then that's definitely where Smith is going.

Yeah i am just very exciting to see what drops tonight or tomorrow morning. I think it may just shock us as well. Who knows?!

Big Al would be interesting. At the right price I would love to welcome him back to Boston, but the issue is I fear he'll command a price that far outweighs his basketball value.

Considering our roster is in complete disarray, and Boston could easily choose to rebuild or retool, I'm sure we'll be hearing LOTS of rumors this offseason.

I would also be intrigued if we went after Bynum. If his knees were healthy he would be great to have. He is only 25. Wonder if we could get into a sign and trade with Philly.

I am mostly with you on this.  I think our best interest is served by clearing cap space and gathering assets.  If Smith, Evans, Al or Milsap can be attained for crazy cheap dollars, I would  be glad --  but other than that, I want lottery action and eventually a superstar FA.

I'm honestly just confused at this point.  I guess we could still bring in an Evans or Smith and still be in the lottery but all of our moves this off season have pointed towards totally blowing it up and wait for the next draft.

I don't really agree.  All of our moves aren't pointing to blowing it up for next years draft, but a rebuild/retool of some point.  Maybe Danny takes players and picks and retools.

I think the C's will be very quiet at least for a few days rumors wise. The first few days will be dominated by Dwight Howard.

I think the C's will probably have some discussions with everyone but I doubt many actually go as far as having meetings.
