Look, I know folks are upset we didn't get back anything for Hayward. But if the alternative is to take back Rozier, then I'll gladly except nothing lol  :P

Otherwise, I'm intrigued!

I would assume Hayward+1 or 2 seconds for a top-55 protected 2nd. That would make us a huge trade exception (bigger than we could use this season, short of trading away ~6 million in salary)

I don't see any chance of a player coming back, the contracts they have are all either very small or brutally large

Toss a pick to CHA to create $30m trade exception -> Throw the bag at Bogdan Bogdanovic (and a pick to the kangz) -> Profit

Per multiple league sources, a Celtics/Hornets sign-and-trade involving Gordon Hayward is still being discussed.

I’d be quite happy with a large TPE.

If that happens then this offseason was a home run.

There is going to be so many people on this forum with their tails tucked in between their legs if that were to ever happen. LOL

If Ainge makes that happen I will happily admit I was absolutely wrong

TBH -- if C's end up losing Hayward, Wanamaker and Kanter while getting Thompson, Teague, Nesmith and... wait for it... Rozier.  I'll be happy.  If they manage to get Bogdanivic, I'll be ecstatic.

Wait... what are we getting from Charlotte?  And why is this a more attractive deal than what Indiana could offer?

Lol @ people convincing themselves Bogdonavic is next.

Nice fantasy, but I’d be shocked if DA could pull a rabbit out of his arse.

IF Ainge pulls it off, we could get a trade exemption that allows us to get Bogdanovic.

So, instead of Turner and McDermott we'd have Tristan Thompson, Jeff Teague and Bogdanovic in the end.

Cody Zeller is not a bad pickup either if that's what happens.
