Durant to Boston is plausible.

No it's not. Ainge isn't shipping Hayward or Horford away, period.

That’s not a road block.

Also, to the fella who said “Durant leaving GSW would be deplorable”... you made me audibly chuckle.

It was more of a joke, lol.

I purposely rhymed deplorable with plausible, although I believe despicable probably could've worked better.

No TP then LarBrd33?  :o ;D ;D

That being said, I cannot fathom Durant asking to get traded here. But... I could totally see him linking up with Kyrie, or AD in NYK. If he led the team along with AD/Kyrie, I think his legacy would still be intact, and would definitely get brownie points.

Yeah, I like it when forum posters make a black-and-white statement and then say, "Period," as if that settles it by the sheer force of their confidence.

I can't see Ainge trading Hayward as salary filler for Davis, where Hayward would live out the rest of his contract on a bad lottery team playing in front of 5,000 fans at home each game. But I could see Hayward being traded to the Warriors, where he would be given the opportunity to thrive next to Curry, Thompson, and Green. In fact, that's about the only situation that I think Ainge, CBS, and Hayward would be ok with.

Same here, if anything Hayward would've benefit more from GSW than BOS.

We don't have the personnel, nor the seasoned champion veterans to accommodate Hayward with patience and chemistry.

I'm EXTREMELY upset with these two - ESPECIALLY Kyrie.

If they had chosen Golden Corral this ALL would've been forgiven in a second, for me.

If they had chosen Chipotle, I think Ainge might've said something by now.

The question then might become who do we want to trade the soon to be 29 year old in Hayward or the soon to be 33 year old in Horford?  From an age standpoint it makes much more sense to keep Hayward, but positionally maybe Horford.  My hope in all this is we keep Smart and Brown. Lol

Tatum, S&T Rozier, Williams and some of our picks for Davis.
Horford or Hayward plus a pick (or more than 1) for Durant.

Davis
Horford or Hayward
Durant
Smart
Irving

Bench
Brown, Morris, Baynes, Theis, MLE player, Yabu, Semi.

I’m getting ahead of myself. Lol

I've thought about this. The Warriors might be ok with Horford too. The problem is the extra year on Hayward's contract, especially if we plan to resign Irving, Durant, and Davis (in this scenario). That makes the tax unbearable.

Instead, Horford could resign (or opt out this year and resign), which would make the Celtics over the tax by ONLY 20 million.

In this dream scenario I'd keep Hayward, because KD has been a 4 for the most part as of late.

If we could keep that team together for 3 years it'd be a 3peat
