;D ;D ;D ;D laker fans are gullible and getting scammed by lavar

The $995 BBB ZO2 Prime Wet editions were suppose to come with a display case that lights up.  Lavar was on Jimmy Kimmel showing it off.
Fans preordered this

And received this model with no case lol (shoe cases like that can cost $300):

http://lonzowire.usatoday.com/2017/12/03/big-baller-brand-lonzo-ball-shoes-wet-zo2-prime-remix/

Everyone who pre-ordered Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball’s signature shoe when it first landed on the Big Baller Brand’s website in May got something different than what was originally intended, thanks to a late redesign. But even some of those who stuck with the ZO2 Prime Remix didn’t get all of what they paid for from LaVar Ball’s business.

$495 price tag for ZO2s was on its face, a select few spent an extra $500 (or more) for the “Wet” edition of the ZO2s. Those featured autographs from the Crown Prince of Chino Hills and were supposed to be delivered “within a clear acrylic enclosure, with cool white LED lighting,” per the BBB website.
Instead, some (if not all) of those who shelled out a grand for the “Wets” got their shoes and a Certificate of Authenticity, but failed to find a plastic case for their expensive kicks.

http://we were promised a led case with the ‘wet’ shoes, we all paid a lot of money, please do not lose fans/customers that had faith in your brand in the first place!!!

So far Ball is a complete failure on and off the court in as a pro NBA player. Awful start to what had was a high ceiling marketing potential.

I'd be interested to see the fine print on the bill of sale.  Otherwise it this would, on it's face, seem to be a pretty open and shut case of false advertising.

Possibly more Ball family legal troubles already.  Wonder if Trump will help them out on this one, too.  :police:

If only LiAngelo were taking pre law at a world class school like UCLA, he could have helped and been like "Dad, maybe this could be seen as a reasonable case of puffing. I mean there's no way Jimmy Kimmel can be considered a contract" but alas......LiAngelo is only the 2nd biggest thief in the family now, and has all of a high school diploma to his name.

I seriously want to know who in their right minds would spend $995 for a pair of shoes from an unproven brand promoted by an unproven rookie.

So far Ball is a complete failure on and off the court in as a pro NBA player. Awful start to what had was a high ceiling marketing potential.

I mean, Lonzo may end up as a decent player, but the whole Ball marketing campaign is no different than, say, the Kardashians. Actually, no, the Kardashians have done a MUCH better job at becoming huge for no reason. Just because you want to be popular doesn't mean you should be. Also, with the way the younger Ball brothers' careers seem to be headed, it seems fairly important that Lonzo becomes a star in order to save BBB.

Hey. Don't be so offensive and small minded. I'm an idiot and even I didn't order that.

I would've gotten it if I could afford it. It wouldn't have been a sneaker that I'd wear, but it'd be symbolic in the sense that I'd be trying to support a family business that's trying to compete with these sneaker giants.

I say all that in past tense because I don't really support Lavar pullin his kids out of school to pursue a career in the NBA, but I'm still glad Lavar has shown the nerve to at least try things differently.
