Haha! NYK are getting screwed now with Chicago taking Lauri M! Should've traded us Porzingis, Phil! Then you would've had Jackson, Lauri M., and probably Monk, too!

Wow, brave pick by Chicago.

I thought they would have gone for Monk.

If Tatum stays, which I am not sure will happen, does that mean Hayward never comes to town? Does it mean Brown's future is as a SG? Does it mean Danny's preference in FA has been Blake Griffin all along?

Pagliuca says the Celtics have had their eyes on Tatum for a while.

Sounds like this has been AInge's guy all along.

Do people feel a bit better about the Philly trade now? If he was going to take Tatum all along, I'm glad we got the Lakers pick in addition to him.

No, I only feel worse about Ainge.

The question is, will he be Kelly Olynyk, or JR Giddens?

Neither.  Pierce.

You take that back.
That's an insult to the Captain.

Nope, I won't.  He reminds a lot of people of Pierce and he's now a Celtic.  Let's get behind him.

LaVine, Dunn and Lauri Markkanen. That's what the Bulls got for Butler. The cletics may not have gotten them but I do feel smugly satisfied that the Bulls didn't get anywhere near what some of their fans were demanding from us.

Josh Jackson says the only reason he didn't work out for the Boston Celtics during the pre-draft process was due to scheduling issues.

What a CLOWN. Great pick w/Tatum, Danny!  ;D

I just can't believe that there are still people on this forum who think we have a chance at getting Paul George tonight.

Apparently there was a fake Woj Twitter account saying a deal had been made.

Fill us in on how you know there is no chance of it happening.  If the reported "talks" are real then of course there is a chance.

I think also Danny has someone with a similar "style" to Jackson at 37

like PJ Dozier

Tatum can play the 4 and Hayward the 2. They fit together fine.
