To San Francisco for a 2018 2nd rounder. No immediate help.

Huh. I think that they would have done better at last year’s draft.

yeah, would have rather done this at the draft last year and picked up a late first rounder.

I had my eye on that linebacker from Alabama, Reuben Foster. Would be nice to have a kid like that right about now.

Probably worth noting, that this second rounder is basically guaranteed to be in the 32-28 range.

49ers are yet to win.

I guess future second round picks do.

Gonna be a high 2nd rounder but, yeah, don't understand not trading him at the draft and keeping Brisette. Now we have no back up.

Ryan Mallet has a couple of starts this year
Hoyer has been a starter
Brissette is THE starter
Garapolo going to learn what it's like to be sacked regularly.

Edelman (Most passing yards in the history of Kent State) can't play back up now, so who's the one?

Slater will have to do it....he plays everywhere.

I agree that he should have been moved at the draft, but this is actually a great trade since he would have walked in half of a season.

The Pats organization must be convinced that Brady is the man for the next few years...which is AWESOME! We’ll find another back-up soon. We aren’t going anywhere without Brady anyway (we are barely going anywhere with him  :P )

There has to be a follow up trade coming, right? Maybe to replace Hightower?

The return is so disappointing.
