What is it with you and evil stars?

What is it with criticizing someone's attempt to be nice? Sorry, but this is a thread for congratulations, isn't it? I honestly don't get it when people say negative things about other peoples' good intentions. That's like giving someone a sapphire ring for their birthday and having a third person say to them: "Man, what's up with the blue stone? That should be a ruby!"

What the heck is wrong with a blue star?!? Why does everything here have to be green? Funny ... as I go through this thread I see many things, photos, graphics, etc., that aren't green either, and yet no criticism follows. I was truly trying to be thoughtful here, and don't see the need for making less of it by criticizing the color of my stars ... jeez!

Folks are just teasing, Bahku.  wdleehi is a Giants fan, so that star is by its nature pretty uneasy on the eyes.  Luckily, BigAl is a Packers fan, so unless you're slapping the Chicago "C" up there, he should be okay.
