When can Wright be traded?  I thought it wasn't until Feb.

That's what I thought.

I'm almost positive he can't be packaged until Feb. But he can be traded alone at any time.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Oh great we are helping Cavs, again.

Gilbert's lottery fix man better come through with our #1 overall.

you are correct. I think the salaries match with Waiters and Wright so it could certainly work out.

I tell you this much......I would not even PiCK UP the phone ......

Unless I was sure I was getting the BETTER end in any deal with Cavs or anybody really.

For Danny to make other s contenders for peanuts is beyond stupid

Any. Deal ......I d DO.......

Celtics need to be the CLEAR WIINNER in any deal

Screw the being fair.......get the best deal .....top,picks and players ,  they need to bend way over and grit their teeth to get our players .

Teams that are facilitators in a deal aren't going to be the clear Winner.  You're just trying to pick up more assets.  That's why Philly has been a part of so many trades.

I wonder if Danny is building up picks to give to Philly so they will take Wallace's contract.

Yawn….yawn….yawn

Ainge is such an idiot.

How many draft picks and exceptions does he need if that's what he's looking for?

Unless he just wants to help the Cavs again.

Wright also fits perfectly into Cleveland's exception from Bogans, if Waiters is either unavailable or draft picks are the preferred commodity.

Generally speaking, the other team(s) in all trades are looking to benefit from them. I don't understand why helping the Cavs matters to anyone. I could see if we were both gunning to take the Eastern Conference, then maybe how they'd benefit would be a consideration. Seeing that we're obviously not, I think we'd be best suited considering the merits of the deal on our end alone.

Sure would have been nice to get help like this when the C's were contenders. How long's it been since the team has had a legit center again?  ::)

Ainge could probably easily find a taker for Wallace's deal after this season provided he add a draft pick. The question as always is, do we need the space? Who is going to be available that we can actually get and would be worth the sacrifice?

If KG was doing that still he never would have been moved to center.

Regardless, he was legit as they come, late 30s and all.
