Well this is pretty interesting.

Quote
Sources say that the Cavs, in recent days, have been in contact with the Boston Celtics about working as a facilitator in three-team trade scenarios. The Celtics, blessed with frontcourt depth in the wake of their recent acquisition of Brandan Wright in the Rajon Rondo deal, have been aggressive recently in their attempts to acquire future draft picks.

The Cavs cannot trade their own 2015 first-round pick because they already sent their 2016 pick to the Celtics in a previous deal. But they do own a protected Memphis first-rounder that they could trade.

Wow, I bet they're regretting trading away Zeller right about now
I'm bitter.

They can't trade Wright until just before the trade deadline.

Yeah, particularly with how well Zeller's been playing.  Well, their loss was our gain.

I don't understand what role we would play or if they want a specific player of ours....

They got Lebron thanks to that deal.

We can't combine him with other salaries until the deadline, but can't we trade him alone sooner (I'm thinking back to when Marshon Brooks got traded to the Lakers for Blake shortly after we traded him to GS)
I'm bitter.

They could have included another pick instead, I doubt Danny made Zeller a sticking point

Waiters isn't even an upgrade over Bradley.

I wouldn't give up Bradley or Wright or the Clippers pick for Waiters.

Waiters isn't even an upgrade over Bradley.

Given his attitude, I'd call him a downgrade

I'd prefer to flip Waiters for another '16 pick and pursue my dream of having a monopoly on the '16 draft...

I fail to see how Boston could facilitate a deal for somebody like Mozgov at 4.7M.  Cleveland has to produce some outgoing salary.  All they have is Waiters.
