Funny aside, but did anyone ever hear why Gilligan's Island was cancelled? They needed the half hour timeslot (as well as another) for Gunsmoke. They cancelled Gunsmoke before anyone realized that it was the favorite show of the president of the network, and had to hurriedly get it back into the lineup.

And Kissyfur darn it. I think Dungeons and Dragons wrapped itself up. I can't remember. All the rights to those shows should be sold to CN

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 193 episodes (which I all have) aren't enough! :)

The Real Ghostbusters show was phenomenal too.

Was Tour of Duty that Vietnam war show on USA or something? If so, LOVED that show.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Life (although you can watch the entire 2 season show here)

To piggy back BC's shows, THe Black Donnellys and Carnivale were also shows that never really got to flesh themselves out.

Twin Peaks too.,

ahah and he also said Life. Yes.

Jeremiah? Although that show kind of ran its course.

@BC not yet man, but they're still on my list.

Yeah.  Way back in the day I think it was on CBS, but re-runs were shown on USA.

Yes. It had Painted Black by the Stones as its opening theme song
