ANYONE THINK JEMAINE AND BRET SHOULD DO TV ADS IN REAL LIFE? THAT STUFF IS BETTER THAN THE SUPER BOWL ADS!

This is my favorite show on TV. The songs are still good in my opinion and the actual plots of the episodes have been great. Murray is so hilarious. Anyone else seeing them when they come to Boston to play a concert in April? I can't wait.

I'm going to take back what I said about this season being marginally less awesome.  I'm not sure I've seen anything funnier that the epileptic dog remix.

Eastbound and Down is terrible.  Horrid.  Not clever in the least.  In the most recent episode, a complete waste of Will Ferrell; the only thing Ferrell did was show up in a funny wig, otherwise his character could have been anybody.

I'm convinced that HBO *knows* the show sucks, and is afraid that people will realize that the show sucks, so they made sure the first thing they showed this week was a pair of boobies.  If it wasn't for those, I'm not sure I would have kept watching!

(What can I say, I'm a simple man... ;)).

i agree, but i really wanna give it a chance.  i think they are trying to make too much of a plot out of it.  I think it should just go over the top, kind of like Bad Santa but with a baseball player.

I've got tickets to see them when they come to Seattle.  Should be fun.  :)

I think it would be fair to say that this season started off rocky and has improved. I too was not digging the first couple eps

Tally me down for "Season 2 hasn't missed a beat" in the fake poll I created inside my head regarding a supposed dropoff in quality of the two seasons. Right off the bat this year with that meeting between Murray and them where he was fired had me chuckling my head off.

I'd choose "Hurt Feelings" for best song so far this year. I think we can all relate to our friends watching "Maid in Manhattan" behind our backs at some point. That lyric touched a nerve........

Caroline Brown, Sugarlumps, and You don't have to be a prostitute are my 3. I can't choose.

A small step below them are "Friends", and the Boom Boom song.

THats not even counting anything from the first season, including the very best, most inspired song, "Foux de fa fa"

I mean thats just next level. Its the level far beyond the level one would presume to be next.

I loved the parody they did of Same Girl by R. Kelly and Usher with that first song in the park last week. Last week may have been my favorite episode of the year. Kristin Wiig did a great job. The "pepiletic" dog song was awesome as well.

Murray:"Well here's the thing! The actual look-alikes don't look anything alike! And, they don't look like the guys they're supposed to look like! And, they're busy! So I went in there, and you look just like they do!"
Jermaine:"So we look like Simon and Garfunkle look alikes, who don't look like Simon and Garfunkle?"
Murray:"That's right! What a blessing!"

This episode had the worst songs but was the funniest for me. All the way until Jermaine discovers Bret rehearsing Paul Simon's solo stuff.
