Jason Terry has been an absolute bust thus far. Doubt he'll regain his pre-celtics form.

a few thoughts. one, the refs were horrible tonight. so many awful calls against us, especially down the stretch. that "foul" on crawford when he tied up randolph was atrocious. memphis got at least 6-8 free points in this game from really bad calls, aside from the points we lost from no-calls for us. second, doc, start playing williams and white a lot more. the subs got us back in this game. also, how about a few more plays called for jeff green? finally, yeah, avery needs to primarily be the cutting 2, not the 1. he has not played great as the PG. push the ball up via the pass, and let pierce or williams or crawford or even green control it. avery is best cutting all over the place.

Doc said earlier in an interview.

"I don't give minutes, They earn minutes."

How the hell can they "earn" the minutes if you don't give them any minutes?

Twill played good in his short stint tonight, but Doc takes him out after 2 minutes.

IMO, White and Randolph earned minutes.

I think so too. But watch, they're not gonna get any minutes on the next game.
Unless it's a blowout in the Knicks favor.

Doc gets a fourth quarter tech. Decides the game... in Memphis's favor. >:(
That tech was after yet another horrible call by the refs. The refs deserve plenty of scorn for tonight - they were just awful. I'm surprised Doc or Pierce didn't get ejected tonight, given how bad the calls were.

Big ups to tha bench for bringing it back. Doc should learn to trust his players and not rely so much on tha vets.

I would also like to see him stay with what works on tha court against whoever we play for longer than 2 minutes.

Of course not. I really don't understand why not, however.

Agreed.

But you know doc, he'd rather keep his players happy with minutes than go with whats working.

If only I could be in Doc's brain when he's coaching..

I never understands his rotations, EVER.

I never understand why he wont ride the hot hand.

I never understand why he doesn't make adjustments.

Look at the Grizzlies tonight, Bayless was hot and they kept going to him.

Here's my problem with Doc Rivers. He makes seven million a year, and yet he can't get consistency out of Jeff Green, offense out of Courtney Lee, or anything out of Jason Terry. #Stealing Wyc's money.

it's amazing that Doc has such a hard time trusting new players enough to give them playing time, but he trusts Crawford right off the bat, and the dude is completely out of control on the floor!

boggles my mind too

Shav 9mins +11- 2pts, block and many shot alters, 4rbs.

White 7mins +14- 4pts, 1ast, 2rbs, 4 blocks (yes, 4).

Wont see another minute unless there is a blowout. Doc is a moron b/c every time those guys get mins they produce.

16mins they get us 6pts, 5 blocks (many other altered shots), 6rbs, and an assist!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I've been impressed with white.  Given we have only two bigs you think doc would use the new guys more.  Nope!
