Pats making huge mistake. Big distraction.

Probably but its a one year deal.  If stuff goes south, its not crippling.

And just like that, he agrees to term with the Patriots per multiple Twitter reports.

Hope Bill knows what he's doing.

WOW this is crazy!!

SO crazy!! I'm shocked.

you just beat me to it...Adam Schefter is reporting it.  Wow, I hope they signed him non guaranteed for 75 bucks and a pair of cooling socks.

This will save Edelman a lot of wear and tear. The potential of these receivers is insane.  I am skeptical if it works out but if it does, it makes the Gronk retirement more palatable.

It probably won't end up a best-case scenario, but dang! Brown/Gordon/Edelman could be a freakin gold mine!

Imagine spreading the field with Edelman, D. Thomas, A.B. and Gordon?  Devlin stays back to double protect.  It is unfair...

This isn't really surprising. The minute he got released, I think everyone expected him to go to the Pats.

Not surprising but figured he'd be batsh*t crazy enough that the Pats would ultimately pass on him.

Barring injury, can anyone think of a better wide receiver corp?

Unless this is all a very calculated act by his team to get himself out of OAK (which I doubt), I wouldn't touch him with a 9 foot pole.

He makes mid 2000s Owens look like choir boy.

If it was all a very calculated act by his team to get him out of OAK, then I ESPECIALLY don't want him here

Well then
I'm bitter.

Unreal man, I may not know much about the X's and O's of football but I always thought AB ran the cleanest routes in the league back when he was in Pitt.

Let's go. Incredible signing.

This is madness. It feels like we just signed a nuclear bomb. Let's hope we use it on other teams, rather then it blow up in our faces. But putting concerns aside... imagining Brady throwing to Antonio Brown is mouth-watering.

This is incredible - I am more than happy to bring in AB! It was obvious things weren't right from the very beginning in Oakland; even if it is all 'mental', I am sure he feels a certain comfort in signing with such a professional organization like the Pats.

Gronkowski will want to get in on this.

Vegas lowered odds of a Patriots Superbowl win from 6-1 to 4-1 and changed their season over under win line from 11 to 11.5.

That's fairly significant movement for one player who isn't a QB.

Bet the people who put bets down for Pats winning the Superbowl at 13-2 and 7-1(I think they were at 7-1 at one point before Gordon got his suspension lifted) are liking those bets right now.

It amazes e when I see people write stuff like "I don't wnat AB, he's a cancer!" or "He is so much worse thank (insert name)!" or "He will bring this team down!" Like this team has had some bad apples whether its Moss, Dillon, or a literal murderer playing TE and yet as far as I can tell the organization didn't collapse into itself. The organization has had to deal with multiple cheating allegations/scandals/witch hunts and didn't collapse. Its been to NINE SUPERBOWLS in the last two decades and didn't collapse. You know why BB is the best coach ever? Because he's built and organization that no one guy could DENT, let alone destroy. There is no downside to this because AB is really good, like literally the best WR of the last decade.
