Suffering through an ESPN broadcast for 2 and a half hours really makes me appreciate Mike, scal, and even Tommy so much more. Hubie brown is just lost and rambles on and on without actually connecting the dots with what he's saying. Then you got this other guy who's in his late 40s trying to throw in sayings teenagers say into the broadcast, it's just a trainwreck with those 2. I'm sorry but I'm not trying to hear "Giannis caught a body" over and over..
If you think this was bad, just tune into a NE Revolution game on the radio...

You listen to soccer on the radio?

I’d like to see the replay on the Jaylen steal.  Would be very surprised if it was all ball.
So I just looked at the replay and Jaylen was CLEARLY fouled.

Yeah, I did the same thing. I'll expect to see that one in the two-minute report.

The Giannis charge was another very questionable one.

Yup. Morris was in a legal defending position and Giannis clobbered him right between the numbers. NO way to play defense if you're not allowed to stay in front of your man. Just a terrible call. And it sure did look as though Brown was hacked, though that was at least a bang-bang play. It unfortunately was the key sequence in the game  :(

We gotta play better defense on that 3-pointer, though. Things aren't always gonna go our way, but getting stops makes it a lot easier to overcome the tough breaks.

Just rush Smart back pleaseeee.

I know this is irrational. But as long as Smart can move his feet, I dont care if he can't pass or shoot, just take minutes from Larkin or Rozier! Even Ojeleye played better than those 2.
I'm with it. I hate that I see people say rozier is a good defender. He can't stay in front of anyone and gets switched in the pick and roll and then abused far too often. Which is sad because he could and should be a better defender than what he is.
That's why I've been laughing at all the rozier vs smart talk on here. Smart>>>>>rozier. Both about the same inconsistency but smart gives u defense hustle and playmaking all the time
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Crappy 48 hours for Boston sports teams.

Celtics lose Games 3 and 4.
Bruins lose Game 5
Gronk says he's skipping voluntary workout for dirt-biking
Sean Manaea tossing a no-hitter against Red Sox.

We need to win Game 5 and Game 6.

To shut those Bucks fans up. Still won't forgive them for chanting "Bucks in 6" against the Celtics towards the end of the regular season.

Need to win five. It is basically a game 7 for boston

yep
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Brad Stevens says the two options on the final play were Rozier coming off a misdirection, which was taken away by a switch, or the one-on-one shot that Morris took.

Holy hell, Brad. So you're telling me the two options that you came up with involved the two players who have been absolute garbage the past two games and were a combined 7 for 25 at that point?

Let's hear the Brad apologists explain this ish.

Disappointing that they chose to go to Morris on the most important possession of the game.  Not getting the ball in the hands of Horford, Brown, or Tatum is a mistake, plain and simple.

I don't think he was the first option, though.

Surely Brad wanted to get that to anyone else, but the Bucks made sure that it couldn't get there. Morris had the entire right side to himself. With no timeouts left, you're left with no choice.

You could get a far worse shot for what was most likely a third option.  No problems with it.

Loss is also on Brad Stevens. He's not protected from this.

The defense was ATROCIOUS that last 10 minutes or so. The Bucks scored on almost every possession.

A lot of youthful mistakes on that end.

Loved the shotmaking by the young guys down the stretch though. This bodes well for the future.

I agree -- bad D and a few bad mistakes.   But, JB and JT were impressive.  Terry had a rough 2 games in Milwaukee but I think he's going to bounce back in Boston.

If this is the case, its not the worst idea.  If everyone on this board was clamoring for the ball to go to one of the kids or Al, so was everyone in Milwaukee.
