As far as House starting, I'll put it this way; with him has a 2nd string PG, the C's were able to win #17. Even if he's more suited has a SG, he knows the system, Marbury doesn't. House is the right choice if Doc goes with him.

If I'm the Heat, I would of course give the ball all the time to DWade. He happens to be a pretty good guy, who is right now doing whatever he wants in the court and the refs most of the time take good care of him by blowing the whistle.

Watch out for Wade just attacking the rim right from tip off. As a team, they should focus on getting our bigs into foul trouble. Our tallest guy off the bench after Mikki is Walker at 6-6. The biggest concern for this game is the possibility of our bigs getting into any kind of foul trouble.

If Perk picks up 2 early fouls, Mikki will most likely come in and that's it, no more bigs off the bench. If Leon get's into foul trouble, only big there is left (if not alredy in the game) is again, Mikki. Only in this case Doc could think of moving PP to the 4 spot and insterting any of our guards in there. Miami if smart, would exploit the mismatch with PP guarding Udonis Haslem, Beasly or even JO. If that happens, forget about PP having any gas left for the 4th quarter considering all the minutes he is probably going to play...

Key to the game. Good Defense, no silly fouls. Of course, turnovers may algo be a factor. As FL points out, the heat backcourt duo have the most steals in the league. We are one of the worst teams on turnovers per game and we also happen to be shorthanded: Players will eventually play more minutes and will be tired. We need to figure out a way of moving the ball around to get the best shot, and we can't win if none of PP or RA have a solid/great game IMO. I say start Steph. If he quickly shows he is hurting us, insert someone else.
the team to beat...
a force to reckon with...
just pick your poison.

I've got a bad feeling about this game tonight... Lets hope Marbury plays loose and free and has a break through. The Celtics need to rebound and run! Go Celtics!!!

this is the best team for us to play with our small lineup... Miami has the same issues only they face it full strength.

I'd like to see:

Pruitt
R.Allen
Pierce
Powe
Perkins

Marbury
House
Giddens
Walker
Moore

i'd like to see Walker on Beasley becuase they were teammates and Billy often played PF in highschool/college becuase of his vertical, Giddens also NEEDS to play becuase of our lack of bigs. JR is a very good rebounder and thats something that we don't have much of on this debilitated roster.

Y'know, I skipped down to "Walker on Beasley" and immediately pictured Antoine.  I'll blame it on playing The Heat.

We don't have all our team tonight and that'll make it tough, but I am real curious about who plays and how they play.  We'll learn a lot in these next few games.  So fingers crossed our young (and new) guys are ready to get out there and compete!

Very excited about this game, but hoping that Doc doesn't run PP and RA into the ground.
Celtics fan for life.

Marbury shaved the dirt above his lip... hopefully this means a good game for him.
