that was an awful call on walker

No it wasn't.  He elbowed him instead of fighting for position.

Mikki does suck and I can't believe how some people hyped him up and then said we'd need a legit 7footer such as him to defend certain bigs.  There is no player in the league that Mikki would do a better job against than Leon or Baby with the possible exception of defending 3pointers by guys like Okur and Wallace.  I agree with mattd- he is useless.

He played as dumb as it gets. What an idiot, getting those 4 fouls in a freaking quarter. Can't the guy control himself? I don't think he entirely sucks, but I keep my stance since the very beginning that he adds nice depth but in no way, shape or form he's better than Powe/BBD.

Agreed.  A few of us have been trumpeting that since the signing.  Moore is an upgrade over POB, but that's it.  I worry that Doc will play him over Powe in the playoffs, though, because 1) he's a "vet", and 2) he has "length".

I can't see that happening in 20 years. Not even in 30. Moore is still just a step above O'Bryant.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain Doc won't play him over Powe. Maybe over Davis if he struggles, but he won't repeat PJ Brown run.

We should have called up a D-League big, some guy with NBA experience like Josh Davis.

Can someone please tell the refs that the crowd didn't pay money to see them blow whistles, wave their arms and argue with players and coaches because the amount of whistles in this game, drawing attention to everything the refs are doing is ridiculous.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Beasley came up with a pretty nice player comparison for Walker with Gerald Wallace.

The locals just pre-empted the game to talk for two minutes about a local fundraiser.  Got to learn about the dunk tank, and the new "guns" of the local announcer who has been working out.  At least that's what he says.

God, Powe really needs a rest. He barely got off the floor that last time.

Why do I have the feeling that in a week or two we're going to be begging Doc to reduce Powe's minutes?

Not good. Walker with 3 fouls too I was thinking he'd be the next in line to play C if Moore fouled out.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
