feeling good about tonight. i guess you could say i have a “good vibration...a sweet sensation”.

i expect to see brad leverage marcus to occasionally assist our bigs in the post against embiid, hounding him the way he did in the us basketball games against giannis.

in the further words of my namesake, “i'm a get mine so get yours, i wanna see sweat comin' out your pores...pure hip-hop, no sell out, if you ain't in it to win it then get the hell out...come on now, feel the vibration...”

gooooooo, c’s!!!

Honestly the guy I fear the most is Josh Richardson. He is a handful,  especially when we play him.  We seem to handle Simmons and Embiid well.  I know Al was a big part of our defense of Embiid, but I am confident that our double schemes can work.  Passing is Embiid's biggest weakness.  Also Kanter seems to match up pretty well against him.  Still think Theis starts (based on preseason success), but prepare to see an early substitution if Embiid tries to abuse him.

Before the game,  I just want to tell everyone how grateful and how blessed I feel to be here posting in the game thread this season.  Last season I missed the first half of the season because I didn't have power or cable to watch them because of Hurricane Michael.  You have all become my family and I love each and every one of you!  Thank you for allowing me to be here for another season and I am sooooooooooooooo excited to watch this team this year.  I love and am thankful for my Celtics family here at Celtics Strong more than you will ever know.    Let's go Celtics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TP to you FL for all the time and effort you put into these game threads.  The site wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable without you putting these together for everyone to enjoy.

Welp, game starts in under three hours.  I'm on the west coast so 4:30 is a bit early for me to get home in time but I'll record and catch up well before half time I think.

As for the game, it's really nothing to lose.  The sixers have all the hype and are at home.  I wouldn't be surprised by anything.  Long season but I look forward to the journey.

I’m so ready for tonight!

My field’s main professional society’s annual conference is always during NBA opening week, so I usually have to watch the first few games from a hotel. But I should arrive to my hotel right about tip off time so I am STOKED! Let’s go C’s!
