Been enjoying the high school games on ESPN.  Coach just called two successful fake punts on the same drive that led to a touchdown.  Glad to see football back.   :) :) :)

I don't even know how the NFL will play their games amid all the coronavirus and racial political issues happening right now

They'll play unless corona takes a big turn for the worse.  Too much money.  Too short of careers for the average player.

Yeah they are definitely going to try. Only thing I'm wondering is that they cancelled the entire preseason, so are they just expecting teams to start a regular season "all fresh" or something? I know people didn't like the preseason much and argued for it to be shortened. I also wanted it to be shortened. But without any preseason you're probably going to have a lot of teams rusty and some players suffering bad injuries early in the season.

It will be very weird watching the Patriots without Tom Brady.

20 seasons with Brady.

They clearly didn't care about the long-term damage their players were getting from chronic traumatic encephalopathy and tried to hide it, there's no way they care about covid or racial issues.

For Covid, players can choose whether to play or not.  As for racial issues, why would they not play when the NBA players are playing?  Should all black folks stop working?

That offence is pretty loaded. Best WR duo in the league, good depth at TE and RB, and the best game-manager in the game.

Their defence also has Shaq Barrett. If Arians coaches well they could be something potent
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Their offense is on pace to match the 2007 Patriots offense perhaps. On paper at least, they look lethal

I wouldn't go that far. The 2007 Patriots had two legitimate GOATs in their physical primes. This Bucs team has a past-it GOAT QB and TE and some strong WR's

Mohammed Sanu was cut. What a waste if a second round draft pick.

SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free
SF: Chris Mullin / Ron Artest

What a bloody disaster of a trade. Ugh

Gotta agree. A second rounder lost for a pathetic 9 game performance. I wonder if that means N'Keal Harry has had a great camp, assumed the #2 receiver designation, making Sinus expendable? The kid has an amazing body and athleticism for a WR. If it puts it together, he could be special.
