There is a big difference between White and Tatum as a playmaker. White involves others, Tatum tends to shoot it himself.

Absolutely.  Only question he needs to answer is whether he can generate offense off the bounce.  If he can do that, he’s well above average as a backup guard.  We already know about his defensive effort, shooting, and energy.
