If they want Edwards and a 2nd I'd do that.

Is it really worth the chemistry hand grenade we’d be tossing in our locker room?
For Edwards.  I'd take that risk.

Hasn't TT played with this kid. If he would keep him in line he has talent. Players who have come to play under Brad Stevens have all been better when they've played here.

Then Tacko will just tower over him and smack him with some real delicious tacos

I have no interest in a player who accuses his front office of enslaving him because his old locker was taken away from him.

He is a talented kid for sure. But he had attitude problems coming into the draft. I agree that he might be worth the risk. Take a flyer on him. I would drive Carsen to the airport for him.

The second he calls Tatum a jive turkey he is out of here.

I would sign Carsen to a long term deal before taking a flyer on him.

I don't think it's fair to expect Tristan or any other player to keep guys in line - especially considering this seems to go beyond attitude issues with his history of suicidal social media posts and alleged violent behavior.

Sometimes people just need a change of scenery.  Maybe it would do him good.  Or maybe it wouldn't.  But if the cost is Carsen Edwards, it is worth the risk because Porter is a lot more talented than Edwards.  The guy is on a rookie deal, it isn't like you are breaking the bank or risking much, but there could be a nice benefit in the long run.  So I'd take the risk.

That seems like an easy pass.

The Celtics already have two young swings they need to develop (and/or get healthy).   They need a more vet swing that can help the team.

Plus, let him be waived.   He would cost less on a new deal then a rookie deal at this point.

Carsen hasn't shown much to give me hope that he belongs in the nba. If an end of bench flyer like Porter can torpedo our locker room with 0 organizational support, that is a horrible look for the fortitude of our team.

So Kevin Porter, Jr. has now played 2 games for the Rockets after a successful stint in the GLeague.  In those 2 games he is averaging 20 ppg, 9 apg, and 4 rpg.  Seems like he was worth taking a flyer on for absolutely nothing.  Missed opportunity.
