Anyone else watching the Madrid vs Barcelona semi-final?

It has been a very disappointing game so far. Madrid sitting back in their own half letting Barcelona's defenders and deep midfielders knock it about it 40-50 yards from goal. Very little attacking done by either side.

I hear that the last two games were like this too. The league match and the Copa Del Rey Final. With Barcelona dominating possession and Real looking to hit them on the counter.

Yes.  Barca's had a few chances.  Xavi might be the worst finisher I've ever seen.  The guy is a great player, but he just cannot score.  Very chippy game though so far.  I expect to see more cards in the 2nd half.  Hopefully Barca can open it up and stick one in, I can't stand Real.
do it

The final and the league game were better imho.

Real realy needs Khedira in the midfield. Pepe and Diara can defend but don`t have a clue about moving the ball forward

Although Murihno`s plan produces an ugly game you have to give him a TP :D We all know in theory how to stop Barcelona but JM is the only one doing it consistently. It can`t be just luck

That was not a red card !

I can't believe the referee gave Pepe a red card for that. Unbelievable.

Ouch, poor Marcelo ... he'll be kicking himself for years to come for slipping on that Messi goal if it knocks Real Madrid out.

Looking like a rematch of the 2009 Champions League Finals between Man Utd and Barca.

On the bright side, this may force Real Madrid to attack in the second leg. That would be nice.

At last, a Barça fan who has brains!!!  ;D

Mágico is remembered in Spain, but in Cádiz he's God, but I guess you knew that already.

Messi is a great player, no doubt, but Xavi Hernández is unbelievable. He by himself transforms any team he plays on. You can take away Messi, who is a terrific scorer, and Barça plays the same game. You take away Xavi and that's another team.

By the way, Real Madrid seems cooked, but after watching the Lakers win yesterday, I wouldn't discount them.

Go Celtics!!!

lol...
Neither do I
ty for the video it was great.

And yes In Cadiz, there are plenty of stories of fathers telling their sons " Hey kid come to me today to the stadium, Youre going to see God playing" ( this happened a LOT when Magico came back for his farewell game.

I think we all agree that the final will be barcelona-MU

it`s interesting the final will be held where both teams won their first CL.

Chelsea sacked Carlo Ancelotti one hour after Chelsea's final league game. Very happy with the decision. Never liked the man. Looking forward to new boss.

Edit: Oops, this was meant to be in the EPL thread. Ah, nevermind. Close enough.
