Anyone else seeing Langford as a Dion Waiters type player, because that is what I see and I am not sure that's a great thing?

I see more D Wade. The reason he has gone 14 is because he has shown talent in flashes but hasn't had the consistency. If he puts it together he's a top 4 player in this draft. That's exactly what you want from a #14 pick.

Dwade?

A hall of famer?
Mvp candidate?
Multiple time allstar?

Comeon now.
Yes, his offensive fluidity reminds me of D Wade. Does it make him a future all star? No, it's a comp

I think the plan is for him to develop some PG skills. Maybe in a season or 2 he can become a backup PG in the mold of Dinwiddie for example (who is 6'6) and if he develops properly, I could see him like Victor Oladipo is now

Nick Young was my first reaction to Langford. Only active when there is a shot attempt in it for him. Doesn't do anything else well.

Let's hope he's available for summer league so we can get a good look at him.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Jeremy Lamb
Jeremy Lamb of the last two seasons would be really solid for a 14th pick
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I Think that’s doubtful. Just was cleared to dribble and shoot. But no contact. We will see.

I’d prefer he work with a shooting coach to improve his release.

There's no doubt about Langford's talent and potential, but Brown and Hayward are ahead of Langford on the depth chart.

I suppose that's true, but you'd still be talking about a borderline starter on a mediocre team.

I dunno.  I don't like most of what I hear about Langford but Danny has a pretty solid track record selecting guys like that.

I'm going to get flammed for this but he looks like a taller T Roz / AB
Bet I get flammed worse. :)

I see an 18 year old, with bad thumb on shooting hand, playing on a worse team with better competition, Paul Pierce.

I see a Markelle Fultz, but without the yips.

He’s a great talent. Still early though. Dudes fresh out of Varsity ball
