Avery Bradley: great individual defender...terrible team defensive concepts.

Gets blown by and then kills the team D...
He didn't get blown by, he went for a gamble steal and almost had it. Rondo does the same thing 5 times a game.

We must be the worst shooting team in the NBA

I posted this in another thread today.

The on court/off court numbers for Rondo this year on the offensive end is +20.4 points per 100 possessions.

That is unreal. The entire offense relies on him.

No ballhandlers or creators on the team other than him.  Nobody puts pressure on the opposing defense inside like him, either.

Danny has definitely put together a very unbalanced roster, I have to say.  I can't really fault him because I'm not sure how much better a job he could have done, but regardless it's a poorly constructed team right now.

thing is, as a team we have an okay effective field goal percentage.  it's just that our defense isn't very good anymore, we give up a ton of offensive rebounds, and we turn the ball over a lot.  as a result, we tend to have the ball a lot less than the other team, which means they have many more opportunities to score than we do.

Still a very close game.

PHX isn't exactly loading with scorers either.

Our team as a whole is outscoring Gortat by 9 points.

there's no excuse for allowing a center who averages 14 a game to score 16 points in a half.

Pierce has to keep creating on offense for us to have a chance.

The Suns fouling us a bunch during this run would be nice, getting to the line for some easy ones.

yeah, Ray looked so good to start the season, but he's really disappeared since then.  he's been MIA since Pierce came back, really.

Is it just me or does Steve Nash look more like a woman every year?

KG has really struggled with that jumper this year.
