I'm not getting anything now, but I've picked up a couple viruses on this site in the past.

Yup. What gives?
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Is it just a CelticsBlog issue, or SB Nation wide?

I'd say report it to: support@sbnation.com.  If possible, include a screen shot of the message you're getting.

Seems like it's all around SB Nation.

I have reported it.

I just hope I don't catch anything too malicious.

google chrome is a web browser created and distributed by an advertising company. if anything, chrome is the spyware, where google's doubleclick cookies are integrated into the browser, allowing them to see everything about your personal life. gmail reads your emails to advertise to you. thats spyware or adware.
