Lebron and company still looking as dominant as ever. Hard to see any teams stopping them in a 7 game series this season. Beat the Clippers without Rondo and Bradley too.
Seriously? The Lakers scrape by against a team missing its 3rd and 4th best player, and you say they look dominant?? What are you watching?

does anyone know how many courts they have in the bubble and how they were able to construct the NBA courts in the bubble.

Ogaju - 3 courts they will be playing on and a number of practice courts.

I guess everyone had to get tested before they were allowed to construct them.

I only caught the last half of the second quarter and some of the third.  neither team looked particularly good except PG had a nice hot streak to turn a small deficit into a brief double digit lead.

from what I've seen so far of the teams, none look in midseason form or terribly cohesive for long stretches.  I think the championship winner will be the team that can get back to top form the fastest and right now, no one's there yet so it's wide open

lol Charles Barkley is saying that "IF" POR gets that 8th spot they could upset the Lakers...

He "DOES" have a point, though....POR will be a scary team.

Charles pointed out that they have the best backcourt outside of GSW (McCollum and Lillard), Whiteside is in a contract year, and they are getting Nurkic and Zach Collins back.

If the Portland Trailblazers get in and upset LA can you imagine the pandemonium in Lakerland?

AD is probably gone.

Hate to say it but AD isn't going anywhere.  That's where he wanted to be.  That's where he is and that's where he's stayaing.

I've actually heard this from somewhere else (think it was Simmons).  That Portland is a bad match up for the lakers and that would be the one team the lakers really don't want to see in the first round.

Yeah, without AB that Portland back court is a real issue. Lillard or McCollum against guys like Waiters, Smith & Caruso, with only Danny Green to help them would be a bloodbath.

It would be about as awesome as it gets if Melo could knock off Bron

I was really pleased with the camera work and courts last night's games.  Felt like regular NBA games to me.  Even the fake crowd noise didn't bother me, kind of got used to it.

These games are gonna be a lot of fun.

Man, Harden is about as unstoppable as I've ever seen. He's a more serious offensive force than anyone post-2000 IMO. 49 points with 9 assists, and just 1 turnover.

I reckon he'll finish #2 on the all-time 50 point games list. He's currently at 4, with 23, which is 2 behind Kobe and 8 behind MJ. With just 1 more 50 point, he'll have 2x as many as LBJ has, and 4x as many KD and Curry.

If he keeps this up in the playoffs I think he has a very good argument for being a top 5 offensive force post-2000 if not top 3. It's pretty difficult to beat out Curry/Nash/LeBron with Kobe/KD/Shaq behind them lol.

Yeah, for sure. His dominance seems a bit different at the moment. For me, he looks more focused on winning.

Like you said, if he can keep this up in the playoffs he’s right up there. I also don’t think I see him slowing down too much production-wise any time soon, barring injury

He seems to have more counters with improved passing (think his passing out of double teams and kickouts have gotten better) as well as a better midrange game with his floaters.

And yeah I've floated around the possibility of him being the Karl Malone of this era in terms of longevity, his game should age really well.

Watched the replay of Lebron's game winning shot.  What struck me was none of the 5 clippers in the paint even made an attempt to block out Lebron from the rebound.  They all just started ball watching when the initial shot went up.

Yeah, that little wrong-footed left handed floater is a good weapon. I also like what Westbrook does for him.

Man, if he does his scoring numbers could be truly insane. Easily into 30k territory. Come a long way since OKC
